Natural tartaric acid of agricultural origin produced by I.C.V. complies with the specifications imposed by EU legislation, by the United States (USP/NF) and European pharmacopoeias, as well as by the Food Chemicals Codex.

The entire production cycle is subjected to targeted checks according to the HACCP principles to protect the final consumer. Quality and Control system is certified according to rigid standards following FSSC 22000.

The product is 100% from natural origin, granted continuously by C14 analysis.

In addition, ICV SPA has the following certification:

L (+) Tartaric acid of agricultural origin  (SGS Cert. N° IT24/00001380) from raw materials of grapes/wine origin.

This certification scheme proves that Natural Tartaric Acid, produced by ICV SPA in its Borgoricco’ site (PD), comes from plant-based agricultural matrix: wine by-products, as raw material for the production of Natural Tartaric Acid.

The production also complies with Kosher standards and does not use raw materials, additives or genetically modified ingredients (GMO free); the product can also be consumed by people who follow a vegetarian and vegan diet as it is totally free from derivatives of animal origin.

Furthermore, it is not contaminated by potentially allergenic substances such as nuts, milk and its derivatives, gluten, soy, fish and its derivatives.
